Pele in in 1958 - 62 showed that even a 17 year old can win a world cup for the a national team.In 1986 Maradonna almost single handedly took Argentina to Victory with a spectacular goal against England(probablythe best goal ever).Similarly we have many players who will become one of the greatest players ever if nurtured properly.We have the likes of Lionel Messi who at the age of 20 is the heartbeat of Barcelona.With supreme skill and unbelievable pace he is according to me the best player today.
Bojan Krkic at the age of 17 is already as intelligent as the veterans like Nistelrooy and Henry with some excellent runs and good awareness.Sergio'Kun'Aguero of Athletico Madrid again is another potential great with good ball control and blistering speed.Theo Walcott and Cesc Fabregas of Arsenal have shown that even at the age of 19 and 21 respectively one can be the soul of the team.Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka. Well i really don't have to talk about them as their reputation preceedes them. Modric,Nasri,Kompany,Rooney and all others who i may have left out(and many i am sure) are also absolutely brilliant.However only a few can live up to their potential and let us see which one of the above does.
